is the executive chef and co-owner of Miller Union, an award-winning, seasonally-driven restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia. Since opening in 2009, the restaurant has been nationally recognized by Eater, Bon Appetit, Food & Wine, and Esquire.
In 2015, Satterfield released his first cookbook, Root to Leaf, and in 2017 was named Best Chef: Southeast by the James Beard Foundation. His dedication to seasonal cooking and support for local farmers is the driving philosophy behind everything he does.
balances chef Satterfield’s rustic, vegetable-forward and market-driven new Southern cuisine with sophisticated and carefully composed desserts. Miller Union’s ever-changing pastry menu reflects Martinez’s boundless creativity and intellectual curiosity, with classic flavors and combinations artfully presented.
Martinez’s creativity and approach to crafting desserts has led to national recognition, including being named a 2019 Eater Young Gun, semifinalist for Outstanding Pastry Chef by the James Beard Foundation, and one of the 32 Rising Stars Under the Age of 40, by Full Service Restaurant Magazine.
is the owner / farmer / winemaker of Matthiasson Wines, founded in 2003. He has been named Winemaker of the Year by both Food and Wine Magazine and the San Francisco Chronicle, and been nominated six times for the James Beard Award.
Matthiasson is a co-author of the California Code of Sustainable Winegrowing, and has provided consulting since 1995 to various vineyards including Araujo, Dalla Valle, Spottswoode, Two Wolves, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, and others.
founded Annette in the Fall of 2016. Named after Glover’s feisty and brilliant Great Aunt Nestie, Annette has been named one of the 50 Best New Restaurants in the Country by Bon Appetit Magazine, as well as Eater Denver’s Restaurant of the Year.
Glover is currently a James Beard Foundation award semi-finalist for Best Chef, Mountain, and has received this award three years running. is the chef and co-owner of Henrietta Red in Nashville, Tennessee. Named in honor of Sullivan’s grandparents, the restaurant embodies their Carolina Lowcountry hospitality and focuses on simple, fresh ingredients, vegetable-forward dishes, and a wide variety of oysters, complemented by unique natural wines and craft cocktails.
Since opening in 2017, Henrietta Red was named one of America’s 50 Best New Restaurants by Bon Appetit (2017) and one of GQ’s Best New Restaurants in America (2018), as well as a James Beard Foundation award semi-finalist for Best New Restaurant (2018). are the founders of High Wire Distillery and dedicated to making whiskeys that shine a light on the agricultural diversity of the American South. This husband/wife team has a simple approach: seek the finest ingredients available and develop recipes using a creative, culinary approach.
All of High Wire’s whiskeys are batch distilled to create unique expressions rooted in the terroir of the South Carolina Lowcountry. In 2019 and 2020, Scott and Ann were nominated as James Beard Foundation award finalists for Outstanding Wine, Beer, or Spirits Professional.
