SUCH GOOD NEWS!
Since last May many have been working hard to get to the bottom of the issues, find short term emergency repairs and formulate a long term SOLUTION to the dire situation our elderly & disabled neighbors are in at Joseph Floyd Manor – namely dysfunctional administration & a potentially condemnable building.
The latest article from Gregory Yee of the Post and Courier reports there has been significant improvement and clarity around actual long term solutions and next steps. We are grateful to the CCHRA Board, the current Staff at JFM, and everyone who is helping all ways & as Friends of the Joseph Floyd Manor we will not stop engaging in this process with any help we can contribute until there is livable housing for our most vulnerable neighbors.
Together – we can do it!
